The eastern Mediterranean region is a geopolitical focus for many countries these days. Some of them are Greece and Israel. Despite its ups and downs in its economy, Greece signed a $1.65 billion deal with Elbit Systems (an international defense electronics company based in Israel) to build an air force training center in Kalamata, Greece. Greece also welcomed the launch of military exercises in Iniohos alongside the Emirates, Cyprus – a rare display of UAE military cooperation with Israel.
Across the Mediterranean, Cyprus Cambodia WhatsApp Number Data held a high-level meeting with diplomats from Israel, the United Arab Emirates and Greece, calling the cooperation a "new strategic membership" that stretches from the Arabian Gulf to Europe. Cyprus has never had good relations with Israel while the United Arab Emirates established full diplomatic relations with Israel in 2020.
